UEFA EURO 2024 Bid Germany
The German Football Association (DFB) has won the bid to host UEFA EURO 2024. On 27 September 2018 UEFA awarded the tournament to Germany. It will be the first European Football Championship in Germany since reunification.
The basis for the decision was the bid document compiled jointly by the DFB and PROPROJEKT, which was presented to UEFA in Nyon on 24 April 2018. In addition to the DFB, the Turkish Football Association bid to host UEFA EURO 2024. The tournament will take place in 10 German cities, which had previously prevailed in a national application process.
PROPROJEKT and AS + P provided technical support to the DFB throughout the bidding process, compiled the comprehensive Bid Book and coordinated the involvement of many stakeholders. For the first time, a Sustainability Concept was submitted already as part of the bid.
