The four foot­ball asso­ci­ations of Eng­land, North­ern Ire­land, Scot­land and Wales sub­mit­ted their bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2035™ to FIFA on 28 Novem­ber 2025.

The joint bid is the sole bidder for the tour­na­ment. The final decision on the host will be made at the FIFA Con­gress in 2026 in Van­couver.

If suc­cess­ful, the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ would be held in the United King­dom for the first time, build­ing on the achieve­ments and dynamic growth of women’s foot­ball. The goal is to organ­ise a sus­tain­able and inclus­ive tour­na­ment that offers an unfor­get­table exper­i­ence for every­one involved.

PRO­PRO­JEKT sup­por­ted the bid in the areas of sus­tain­ab­il­ity and human rights. Our respons­ib­il­it­ies included devel­op­ing a human rights strategy and draft­ing the cor­res­pond­ing chapter in the Bid Book in line with FIFA require­ments and inter­na­tional best prac­tices.
