PROPROJEKT supports selection of Candidate Cities for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup

Together with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) and the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA), the DFB would like to bid for the organisation of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027.

As part of a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory selection process, the DFB Executive Committee decided on 9 September 2022 to designate the cities of Dortmund, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne as the German Candidate Cities. Together with the Dutch and Belgian cities, which will be announced at a later date, they will be part of the international bid to FIFA.

PROPROJEKT was commissioned by DFB EURO GmbH to support the development, implementation and evaluation of the national selection process.

Further information can be found in the DFB press release and in the evaluation report National Bidding Process.
