Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank is Germany’s nationwide development bank for agriculture and rural areas. Rentenbank is based at Hochstrasse 2 in Frankfurt am Main - centrally located between the Eschenheimer Tor and the Wallanlagen. The bank building was completed in 1956 and, with its appearance and urban arrangement, is considered to be significant and trendsetting for post-war architecture. The building complex is registered as a cultural monument and is located at a neuralgic point in the city centre from an urban planning perspective. Rentenbank intends to comprehensively modernise and expand the building and to improve the quality of energy efficiency and fire protection. Among other things, the high-rise block is to be expanded by four floors and an underground car park is to be built under today's service yard. With the necessary repairs to the facade, the building shell is also to be improved in terms of energy efficiency, whereby the specifications of the monument protection must be observed.
PROPROJEKT takes over the services of extended client advice and representation for the project. For the successful realisation of the project, in addition to the defect-free, on-schedule and cost-effective completion of the project, the implementation of demands from the public sector (urban planning office, green space office, monument protection office, etc.) and the realisation of a sustainable overall concept developed for the bank and the building are of great importance. In addition, PROPROJEKT takes on the implementation of the EU-wide and national procurement procedures as well as the tasks to support and relieve the tasks incumbent on the client and the communication with the other parties involved in the project, in particular the planners and construction companies.
