Procurement Support for the City of Frankfurt on the Main

The recent legis­la­tion con­cern­ing the pro­ced­ures for the award­ing of public con­tracts provides new impulses for muni­cip­al­it­ies to par­ti­cip­ate in a respons­ible cul­ture of plan­ning and devel­op­ing. The goal of the pro­cure­ment of plan­ning ser­vices is find­ing the best pos­sible solu­tions for the respect­ive task as well as find­ing a suit­able part­ner for the con­tract­ing entit­ies. The pro­cess of award­ing such con­tracts cre­ates the abil­ity to sup­port smal­ler and medium-sized enter­prises to access the public market and to pro­mote future­ori­ented ideas that ensure a high qual­ity for the built envir­on­ment.

PRO­PRO­JEKT is respons­ible for hand­ling the call for tenders and award­ing of con­tracts as well as con­sult­ing the Depart­ment for public con­struc­tion (Hoch­bauamt) regard­ing the pro­cure­ment of plan­ning ser­vices. The awar­ded con­tracts include ser­vices in gen­eral and frame­work plan­ning, tech­nical build­ing ser­vices, fire safety, etc.

• Around 20 con­struc­tion pro­jects for schools, includ­ing the new build­ing for Ludwig Weber-Schule, the wooden mod­u­lar con­struc­tion of Gym­nas­ium Frank­furt Nord (see pic­ture), the new build­ing of Gym­nas­iale Ober­stufe Pre­un­gesheim, the exten­sion for Henri-Dunant-Schule
