PROPROJEKT is supporting the FUTURE LEAGUE Conference alongside the Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin

In the run-up to the 2026 FIBA Women’s Bas­ket­ball World Cup, the Berlin Senate Depart­ment for the Interior and Sports, together with the Fed­eral Min­istry for the Envir­on­ment, Cli­mate Action, Nature Con­ser­va­tion and Nuc­lear Safety and the Berlin Senate Depart­ment for Sci­ence, Health and Care, is host­ing the FUTURE LEAGUE con­fer­ence ‘Major Sport­ing Events of the Future – Berlin Gets People Mov­ing’ on Wed­nes­day 2 Septem­ber.

At the EUREF Campus Berlin, experts from the fields of sport, polit­ics, aca­demia, public admin­is­tra­tion and civil soci­ety will dis­cuss how large-scale sus­tain­able sport­ing events can provide a real boost to par­ti­cip­a­tion, phys­ical activ­ity, health and cli­mate pro­tec­tion – and what spe­cific oppor­tun­it­ies this presents for Berlin and beyond.
