„10 years of the Leipzig Charta – for a sustainable European City”
The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) together with the German Conference of State Ministers of Construction, the German Städtetag and the German Federation of Cities and Communities are hosting the 11th Federal Congress on National Urban Development Policy in Hamburg from the 12th to the 14th of June 2017.
In 2017 the resolution on the Leipzig Charta for a sustainable European City and the passing of the National Urban Development Policy have their tenth anniversary and will be evaluated by representatives from politics, planners, economists and representatives of the civil society.
At the same time, the idea of a European city will be further developed, new approaches and strategies will be discussed and, as a consequence, a common and sustainable urban development policy will be promoted on the national and international level.
In cooperation with Büro Kaufmann, PROPROJEKT supported the BMVBS with the development and coordination of concept and program, the documentation and the comprehensive project management.
