User Project Management
In 2011 the City of Frankfurt am Main launched a comprehensive European tender process for a public-private-partnership to plan, finance, construct and maintain a new integrated school project in Frankfurt Höchst. A thirty-year lease contract was negotiated and finally signed with the successful bidder consortium in summer of 2012. After three subsequent years of planning and construction (including soil remediation), the school has started to operate at the beginning of the school year in September 2015.
PROPROJEKT was commissioned with the project management in support of the City of Frankfurt am Main regarding the city’s cooperation duties during the planning and construction period. Besides setting up a comprehensive organisational structure and supporting the client regarding construction issues, PROPROJEKT’s assignment also included review and approval of planning and design, supervising change management to monitor building costs and the professional asistance till turnkey delivery, including the elimination of defects and commissioning of the finished building.
