Tender Man­age­ment — Sta­dium Karls­ruhe

The city-owned Wild­park sta­dium in Karls­ruhe, Ger­many, is the home venue for the foot­ball Bundes­liga team Karls­ruher FC. Because of its age, it does not fully meet and comply with cur­rent require­ments for a modern foot­ball sta­dium. After intens­ive ana­lyses of sev­eral renov­a­tion and expan­sion plans at the cur­rent loc­a­tion and mul­tiple altern­at­ive loc­a­tions, the city of Karls­ruhe has decided to per­form a full renov­a­tion at the cur­rent loc­a­tion. The required ser­vices will be awar­ded to a con­sor­tium of a gen­eral con­tractor and an archi­tect accord­ing to §3 EU Abs. 3 VOB/A.

With the sign­ing of con­tracts between the City of Karls­ruhe and BAM Sports GmbH on 19 Novem­ber 2018, the Europe-wide award­ing pro­cess for the plan­ning and con­struc­tion ser­vices for the renov­a­tion of the Wild­park sta­dium in Karls­ruhe was com­pleted suc­cess­fully. PRO­PRO­JEKT has com­pre­hens­ively sup­por­ted the city-owned muni­cipal enter­prise “Fußball­sta­dion im Wild­park” through­out the organ­isa­tion and real­isa­tion of the ten­der­ing and award­ing pro­cess. During the two-year pro­cess, PRO­PRO­JEKT has sup­por­ted the city’s muni­cipal enter­prise in the com­mu­nic­a­tion with the bid­ders/ten­der­ers, the coordin­a­tion of dates and timelines, the devel­op­ment of selec­tion and award­ing cri­teria, eval­u­ation of ten­der­ing doc­u­ments and eco­nomic aspects of the bids, as well as the organ­isa­tion of the nego­ti­ations. As a result, con­tracts to develop a con­tem­por­ary foot­ball sta­dium on the site of the exist­ing sta­dium within the budget passed by the city coun­cil of the City of Karls­ruhe were suc­cess­fully awar­ded.
