Future Con­gress 2022 of the State of Hesse

Cities and muni­cip­al­it­ies are facing numer­ous chal­lenges: In addi­tion to demo­graphic and (eco­nomic-)struc­tural change, cli­mate change is increas­ingly present­ing muni­cip­al­it­ies with new tasks that are par­tic­u­larly vis­ible and tan­gible on the ground. Here, how­ever, there is also the oppor­tun­ity for action and the imple­ment­a­tion of con­crete meas­ures.

For the first time, the Future Con­gress "The City of the Future is Green and Live­able." took place in 2022 to dis­cuss good examples of sus­tain­able and live­able cities with the local acting stake­hold­ers. PRO­PRO­JEKT sup­por­ted the Hes­sian Min­istry of Eco­nomic Affairs, Energy, Trans­port and Hous­ing in pre­par­ing the con­tent and organ­isa­tion of the Future Con­gress, which took place on 14 Octo­ber 2022 at the Con­gress Park Hanau.
