Exhibition UNESCO world heritage
In previous public perception the UNESCO World Heritage sites have a predominantly touristic image. Less focus is on the wide range of tasks coherent with the constructional, cultural, and urban development of the world heritage sites. The exhibition “UNESCO World Heritage – a Tour of Germany” demonstrates the diversity of world heritage sites, the array of tasks ahead as well as current world heritage projects and concepts in cities and regions.
This touring exhibition was so far displayed in the German Architecture Museum (DAM) in Frankfurt as well as in Quedlinburg, Trier, Dresden and Koblenz. From April 2015, the Mainz town hall will show this exhibition.
PROPROJEKT and DAM were assigned with the concept, preparation and realisation of the world heritage exhibition as well as with the accompanying catalogue, from first ideas to print.
