Communication - Investment Plan UNESCO World Heritage
For the preservation and maintenance of the German UNESCO World Heritage Sites the federal government provided 220 m euro in the years 2009-2014. A major goal of this program was to communicate the role model status of the world heritage program as well as the neighbourhood approach of the urban heritage conservation funding program on national and international level. The program included regular events and publications and a website. In 2014, the “Investment Programme for National UNESCO World Heritage Sites” came under the umbrella of the BMUB due to rearrangements in ministry responsibilities.
PROPROJEKT, together with AS+P and Halder-Hass Denkmalprojekte, was in charge of the public relations work. PROPROJEKT was responsible for the contents and organisation of symposia, expert talks and congresses as well as for the website and publications of the world heritage programme.
