PROPROJEKT develops a concept for the Olympic Park Berlin

With over 100 years of history and the current user structure, the Olympiapark Berlin is a sports park of national and international importance but is currently facing several structural and usage-oriented challenges. In this context, PROPROJEKT was commissioned with the development of an overall usage and development concept, which the administration will use as a guideline for action for the next ten years. Based on an extensive inventory analysis and a broad participation process, an overarching idea for sharpening the athletic and spatial profile of the Olympiapark Berlin was developed. Further, organisational and structural measures for implementation were developed.

In particular, by clustering and broadening the sporting uses with new Olympic sports, the idea "Olympic in all its dimensions - The Olympiapark Berlin as a showcase for a contemporary understanding of sports" is spatially implemented highlighting the unique selling point of the Olympiapark Berlin within the German sports landscape.
