St. Katharinen- und Weißfrauenstift
The existing senior citizens residence - build in 1970 - is owned by St. Katharinen- und Weißfrauenstift and is placed in an innercity district of Frankfurt am Main. The decision to rebuild the complex was based on the present building fabric, building technology and functional attributions which do not comply with future requirements and standards of retirement homes. Therefore the owner decided to rebuild the whole building complex on the existing site. The planning comprises an 8-storey building with up to 35 barrier-free apartments for elderly women, living on their own. The planned apartments will be equipped with a small bathroom and a build-in kitchen unit. Beside the apartments the groundfloor will provide a communal space for the inhabitants.
PROPROJEKT is commissioned with the project management in all planning and realisation phases to support the St. Katharinen- und Weißfrauenstift as well as to manage a comprehensive european tendering procedure to award the object and technical planning services. Additionally, PROPROJEKT coordinates the tender-process for the planning and supervision of the demolition of the existing building.
